WIT Studio new TV anime drops new info

Details, along with a teaser promotional video, for the upcoming anime adaptation of Osama Ranking has been released.

Based on the ongoing manga by Sosuke Toka, Osama Ranking tells the tale of Bojji, a deaf and powerless prince who cannot even wield a child’s sword properly. He dreams of becoming the greatest king in the world, but is surrounded by people who label him “a good-for-nothing prince”. That is until he meets his first ever friend, Kage (shadow). Cast to play the role of Bojji is Minami Hinata. And Kage, a survivor of the Shadow Clan, will be performed by Ayumu Murase.

The key creative team comprises Yosuke Hatta (direction), Taku Kishimoto (series composition), Atsuko Nozaki (character design & animation supervision), Arifumi Imai (assistant direction) and Mayuko (music composition).

Osama Ranking is set to premiere in Fuji TV’s noitaminA timebelt in October 2021.
